The Palace of the Shaki Khans is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northwestern Azerbaijan, built in 1762 by Huseyn Khan Mushtad. The palace is renowned for its exquisite shebeke (stained glass windows assembled without nails or glue) and elaborate murals depicting religious themes, hunting scenes, and floral motifs. The upper-floor walls feature inscriptions from the Quran and depictions of the Prophet's Night Journey. Built without a single nail, the palace demonstrates the remarkable craftsmanship of Islamic artisans in the Caucasus.
