About This Sacred Site
The Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, built in 1875-1903 from white La Turbie stone, is Monaco's principal church and the burial place of the Grimaldi family rulers. It is best known as the final resting place of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace (formerly Grace Kelly), whose graves attract visitors from around the world. The cathedral also hosts the renowned Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco boys' choir, which performs during religious services.
